How RipNova prices a card
In US dollars. Prices come from multiple marketplaces and recent sales. When a printing has too few sales for a firm price, we estimate a value and label it as an estimate.
Matched to the printing. A price is attached only when the listing is for that exact printing. When a marketplace lumps several printings into one listing, we say so instead of pretending it’s precise.
No guessing. 1,326 printings have no reliable market data right now, and they’re marked unpriced rather than filled in.
Reference, not an offer. Values are estimates for tracking — not appraisals, not offers to buy or sell, and not investment advice. Read the disclaimers.

How do I get RipNova?
Tap “Open RipNova” on this page. It runs in your browser on your computer or phone, nothing to install. Sign-in is open to invited members for now.
Prefer an app? The Android beta is a download on this page. It installs outside Google Play, so Android asks once to allow installs from your browser. Google Play and iPhone are on the way.
Is the Android beta download safe?
Only install RipNova from velavia.io. The file is RipNova-0.1.0.apk.

How do packs and boxes work?
Pick a pack or box, look through What’s inside, then rip it open and flip your pull. Each pack’s and box’s odds are in the app under Settings › Odds & how packs work. 18+ and only where permitted. How packs work is in the Rip Standard.
Packs open with free play credits (no cash value) or Nova Credits (1 credit = $1), bought in the app with a card, PayPal or Venmo. To buy, sign in with email or Google and confirm your phone number.
What happens to what I pull?
Play-credit pulls stay in the app: keep them or sell them back for play credits. They never ship.
Nova Credit pulls can ship to you. We buy that exact item after your pull and send it, with a shipping fee by item type. Or sell it back within 24 hours for 90% of its value in Nova Credits.
What are Drops?
Drops is the release calendar inside RipNova: what’s out today, tomorrow and on every date ahead. Tap Notify me on a release, and set price targets on your wishlist to get a note when a card drops under your number.
How does trading work?
RipNova matches you with members who have your wants and want your haves, and suggests a balanced offer. You can counter, accept or decline, chat inside the trade, add tracking when you ship, and leave a review. Trade facts and the scam coach help you trade with confidence. Cards change owners in the app only when both collectors confirm they arrived.

Market prices in US dollars, pulled from multiple marketplaces and recent sales. Values are estimates for tracking — not appraisals, offers or investment advice. See the Disclaimers.

Yes. Import your Collectr or Dex CSV export.
Will it cost anything?
RipNova is free to use. Play credits are free. Nova Credits are optional and cost money (1 credit = $1). Shipping a pull has a fee. RipNova doesn’t pay out money.

RipNova is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures or GAME FREAK. Pokémon and card names are trademarks of their respective owners.
